fall’s rubber sole

Jelly flats were a designer must-have this summer, with Chanel, Givenchy, and Marc by Marc all having fun with the eighties staple. Looking ahead to fall, the flat part is gone but the jelly remains in Marni’s PVC Mary Jane. A classic, with a fun twist. Marni PVC Mary Janes, $435, available at Marni, NYC, (212) 343-3912. For more information, see www.marni.com.

to die for, I like that you can wear those shoes up or down. lovely.
By Deeznice on 08/16/08 at 7:32 amthese plastic shoes are ridiculously priced considering they’re not even leather. But it would be fun to use them especially here in Manila, where the season is rainy right now and I wouldn’t have to worry about my shoes getting wet.
By hauteofthisworld on 08/20/08 at 9:41 pmi love marni, but PVC is a huge NO-NO-NO!
